The Industrial Fully Automatic Spiral Screw Sludge Dewatering Machine (Model QXDL-131) operates on a low-speed screw compaction principle, achieving continuous solid-liquid separation without high-speed centrifugal forces or belt filter press complexities. The system integrates a thickening section and a dewatering section within a single enclosed chamber. As the spiral shaft rotates, the volume between the moving and fixed rings gradually decreases, generating compression force that extracts moisture from sludge. This mechanism produces a stable dewatered cake with dry solids content ranging between 18 to 25 percent, depending on feed sludge characteristics. The automatic torque control adjusts operational speed based on real-time load, reducing energy use during low-feed periods.
Total power consumption of 0.36 kW per operational hour. The low rotational speed (2-5 RPM) reduces electrical demand compared to centrifuge or belt press systems operating at 30-50 kW ranges.
The differential motion between the spiral shaft and laminating rings prevents clogging without requiring high-pressure backwash water pumps, reducing maintenance frequency and water usage.
Equipment dimensions of L1870mm × W730mm × H1170mm enable installation in existing facilities with limited floor space, eliminating the need for separate thickening tanks or polymer mixing units.
